Our Perspective

We invite you to open your mind to a different perspective.

One of the best ways to grow and succeed is to look at things from a different or new perspective. It is easy, and often fun to look at a short term goal or success and feel accomplished. Example 1: “I ate right, exercised 6 times a week and  lost 15 pound for my vacation to the beach!”  Example 2: “I am in the best shape of my life! I just have to work through the pain of some old injuries.” Achieving goals like these are great, but they are only steps within the long journey of this physical life.

Become Grateful Through Understanding

Screen shot 2015-09-29 at 3.31.49 PMThe real test however, is perseverance, consistency, and longevity! Are the life patterns you have currently developed setting you up for success or failure in the future? What are the real reasons you either do or don’t take care of your body? From years of working and training with people in all different walks of life, the people who develop the mindset of “gratefulness” are the ones who have been able to sustain their strength, health, and happiness. Not only have they been able to maintain it, but they have been able to grow and reach new levels, sharing their path of success with others. It is difficult to develop the mindset of being grateful, and even more difficult to back it up with actions, if you have little or no understanding of how something works, or how much it actually does for you. Example 1: You are a hard working husband and come home to your children asleep in their bed. It is hard to be grateful for all the work your wife does if you are unaware of the details of her day; waking them up, cooking them breakfast, driving them to sports practice, doing their laundry, picking them up from practice, helping them with their homework, cooking them dinner, getting them showered and clean, and putting them to bed.

Our goal is to spread knowledge to help gain understanding of how much our bodies actually do for us. Upon developing a deeper understanding of your body, we hope this will encourage you to have a deeper appreciation for your body. You then put yourself in a good position to get your heart behind it, and show your body gratitude with your actions. This mindset and heart-set could lead to a truly healthy relationship between you and your body!

Which of the options below best describes the way you treat and feel about your body?

B) Ungrateful: unappreciative; not displaying gratitude; not giving due return or recompense for benefits conferred:
